On August 8, 2019, Nancy Montagna was the featured speaker at Toledo East Women’s  Connection at Bayside Restaurant for the group’s monthly  luncheon program.

Nancy presented her inspirational talk “From Strait Jacket To Sound Mind.”

Nancy Montagna spoke with a lovely group of men and women and shared the “From Strait Jacket to Sound Mind” inspirational talk at the Friends Night Sylvania Women’s Connection at Highland Meadows Golf Course on the evening  of August 8, 2019.

I was the inspirational speaker on a three-day circuit in Western New York presenting at Niagara Falls, Buffalo, and Lockport events. “From Straight Jacket to Sound Mind” All total, I inspired over 150 women with testimony and song.

I was honored to present my story to help the current candidates at the Police Academy at Kent State Trumbull learn more and understand about those who have a mental illness. I’m hoping that this helps to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness and makes them comfortable in learning more about it.

Nancy Montagna spoke to about 200 women at the Cross Creek Resort Women’s Connection in Oil City, PA in May 2018.

On October 23 and 24, 2017, Nancy Montagna presented “From Strait-Jacket to Sound Mind: How I overcame Mental Illness” for Stonecroft Ministries.

She spoke at three Columbus area Women’s Connection Ministries in Hilliard, Upper Arlington and Columbus, Ohio. Her husband, Gary, provided the music.
