I was honored to present my story to help the current candidates at the Police Academy at Kent State Trumbull learn more and understand about those who have a mental illness. I’m hoping that this helps to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness and makes them comfortable in learning more about it.

Last week Nancy Montagna taught a two-day “train the trainer” WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) course to 12 Certified Peer Recovery Specialists in Lima, Ohio for Coleman Professional Services in Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin (AAH) Counties in Ohio.
Now these 12 Peer Recovery Specialists will be able to teach the WRAP program to others.
Thank you to all who attended the Warren Women’s Connection speech at DeLucia’s Banquet Hall on February 13, 2017. I’m hoping I made a difference in the lives touched by the 50 women in attendance there.

October 21 at the Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio “Role Play” this morning with Trumbull Counties finest.
The setting — I’m playing a manic woman believing that she is Vivian Van Gogh. “Gramps” Vincent is giving me painting instructions from on high. I won’t turn down the loud music that helps me painting.
There was a great turn out of 22 officers graduating from the rigorous week-long CIT* training this time around.
